Question 1

What is AI Certification Pathways?

Accepted Answer

AI Certification Pathways is the applied AI competency certification and verification platform for employers, L&D leaders, and workforce development. We provide human-reviewed, real-work portfolio-based certification across three tiers: AI Associate, AI Practitioner, and Certified AI Practitioner. We are the AI competency category — the way PMP is to project management, Six Sigma is to process quality, and CE is to professional licensing. Our public credential verification portal allows employers and partners to validate a certified professional's AI competency.

Question 2

Why certify your team's AI competency?

Accepted Answer

Employers and L&D leaders use AI Certification Pathways to validate team-level AI competency with a vendor-neutral standard. Every team member earns a verifiable credential through real-work portfolio demonstration, not multiple-choice exams. Employers can bulk-purchase certification seats, distribute seat codes to staff, and track order status through a token-gated public page. Each enrollee completes their own application, terms acknowledgment, and prerequisite check — bulk is a procurement layer, not a bypass. The result is a workforce with validated, transferable AI competency that doesn't expire when a vendor changes its product.

Question 3

How is this different from vendor-specific AI certifications?

Accepted Answer

Vendor-specific certifications (like OpenAI or Anthropic product certifications) validate that someone can use a specific product. AI Certification Pathways is vendor-neutral — we validate applied AI competency that transfers across tools, platforms, and vendors. Our curriculum is independent of any AI vendor, and all certification artifacts carry immutable provenance chains. We are a category certification, not a product certification. We do not compete with or complement vendor-specific certs; we exist to validate professional development and workforce sustainability in applied AI competency, the same way PMP validates project management, Six Sigma validates process quality, and CE validates professional licensing.

Question 4

What is the higher-education CE partnership model?

Accepted Answer

AI Certification Pathways partners with higher-education institutions and learning platforms to offer non-credentialed continuing education (CE) courses that credential holders complete during annual renewal. The CE cost is absorbed into the renewal fee and billed to Clever Analytics and Insights Inc. (the platform operator), not the enrollee. Enrollees access partner CE courses through the CE Course Directory and apply them toward credential renewal. Partners can co-create CE content or integrate existing courses. This model keeps renewal affordable for credential holders while creating partnership opportunities for higher-education institutions and learning platforms.

Question 5

How do I get AI certified for business?

Accepted Answer

To get AI certified, submit an application through our public application portal. After human-reviewed acceptance, activate your enrollment, complete onboarding, progress through the Learning Lab curriculum and scenario practice, and submit a real-work portfolio for reviewer evaluation. Approved candidates receive a verifiable credential. You can start at the AI Associate tier ($495), or enroll in the Full Certification Package ($2,995) for all three tiers.

Question 6

What are the AI certification tiers?

Accepted Answer

AI Certification Pathways offers three certification tiers. AI Associate ($495) is the foundational certification covering AI fundamentals and prompt crafting. AI Practitioner ($1,250) is the intermediate certification covering advanced prompt engineering and workflow automation, requiring the Associate credential as a prerequisite. Certified AI Practitioner ($1,500) is the advanced certification covering governance and portfolio-level demonstration, requiring the Practitioner credential. The Full Certification Package ($2,995) includes all three tiers in a 24-week curriculum.

Question 7

How do I verify an AI certification?

Accepted Answer

You can verify a certified professional's AI competency credential using our public verification portal at aicertificationpathways.com/verify. Enter the verification token provided by the credential holder, and the portal will confirm the credential's validity, tier level, and issuance status.

Question 8

Is the AI certification auto-graded by AI?

Accepted Answer

No. All certification decisions are made by certified human reviewers. AI is used in an advisory capacity only for completeness pre-checks and guidance — it never passes, fails, or certifies a candidate. Every portfolio submission is reviewed against versioned rubrics by assigned reviewers, and all credential issuance is a human decision.

Question 9

Can employers bulk purchase AI certification seats?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Employers can submit bulk certification seat orders through the employer bulk order portal. Each staff member still completes their own application, terms acknowledgment, and prerequisite check individually. Employers receive seat invitation links to distribute to their team, and can track order status through a token-gated public status page. Bulk is a procurement layer, never a bypass — every individual is reviewer-gated.

Question 10

How long does AI certification take?

Accepted Answer

The Full Certification Package is a 24-week curriculum spanning all three tiers. Individual tier timelines vary. The Learning Lab includes curriculum modules and interactive scenario-based practice exercises. A 40-hour reflection pause between curriculum weeks validates student comprehension. Portfolio review is conducted by assigned reviewers after submission.

Question 11

Are AI certification credentials publicly verifiable?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every issued credential comes with a verification token and a public verification link. Employers, partners, and the public can verify a credential holder's certification status, tier level, and issuance through our public verification portal at aicertificationpathways.com/verify.

Question 12

What is the AI Associate certification?

Accepted Answer

The AI Associate certification ($495) is the foundational tier of AI Certification Pathways. It covers AI fundamentals, tool literacy, prompt crafting, and responsible AI use. It is the entry-level certification for business professionals beginning their AI journey and is the prerequisite for the AI Practitioner tier.
